A magnificent and glamorous ball event ? the 55th edition of the Ball of Viennese Coffeehouse Owners

“This year, our guests can look forward to fireworks of surprising and entertaining elements, combined with sophisticated uptown ball tradition“- so the Ball’s patron KR Maximilian describes this year’s Ball of Viennese Coffeehouse Owners. The motto “Viennese Mélange” is to be understood as indication of the mix of diversity and novelty with the proper proportion of joie de vivre, typical for the Viennese coffeehouse owners.

On the occasion of Klimt Year 2012, the 55th edition of the Coffeehouse Owners’ Ball will no doubt be a multicolored, noble, and unique dance. Also this year, some 6,000 guests will enjoy Austria’s well-nigh largest coffeehouse. Viennese Coffeehouse Owners’ Ball, largely considered one of Vienna’s most beautiful balls, will take place on 10th of February, 2012, at Wiener Hofburg, Redouten Halls, and Rooftop Foyer. For the opening ceremony, they engaged one more Daniela Fally, an acclaimed soprano singer at Vienna State Opera. At midnight, “Vereinigte Bühnen Wien” [=United Stages Vienna] will present a medley from the musical “Ich war noch niemals in New York“. The both variegated and exciting program ensures lively dancing pleasure until dawn.
